This is a medium ranched red fox He was put down using Dry Ice. No I did NOT kill this fox, nor did I pay for him to be killed, I just simply obtained his fur.
I got this fox in the mail today, and as soon as I took him out and looked at him he stole my heart OTL;;; I don't think Ima be able to sell him honestly XD;;;; kgjdfnbjk hes just too precious
His tan is so soft and stretchy and white, the ranch and tan owner did a very good job on him and I am looking to buying from him definitely again. <: he has a silver and another red waiting for me SO I'll get those sooner or later [possibly after my female red sells as a soft mount]
I was calling this guy Cosmo, but I also like the name Tapper. SO IM STUCK BETWEEN but I'll figure it out. I might send him off to another taxidermist to have him mounted, I'm unsure about doing it myself cause he means a lot to me and since I'm a beginner I don't wanna fuck him up XD
he's got little black and white calico like legs and his feet are so fluffy you cant find his pawpads kajsdl <3
skin is beautiful no doubt ... I would not have the stomach to flay a fox and least of all the ability XD I have a great affection for these animals. a question, that of taxidermy .. someone you inherited or learned on your own? by the way ... great job with these skins!!
Dry ice? I've not heard of that method... I take it that's the larger-critter equivalent of the carbon monoxide euthanasia they use for mink? If so, well... I knew they were hunting for more humane methods, didn't realize they'd already gone a step further down that road.

Either way, this is a beautiful fox.
